Hi mountain girls, it’s time again, mountain panoramas like a painting in warm yellow tones with bright red accents are waiting to be discovered and photographed by you! For the second time, the Magic Valley invites you to the best Indian Summer of the Swiss Alps, to the beautiful Lötschental, for two days from October 5th to 6th!
About the hike
We have organized a special deal for the night at Hotel Fafleralp for all participants.The hotel is surrounded by trees at the foot of the glacier forefield offering a wonderful starting point for hikes. You can choose between a place in a room with 10 beds for CHF 50 per person or in a double room for CHF 70 per person, both including breakfast.
The focus of this hike is on easy exploring the autumn mountain landscapes and taking pictures. The ‘Welcome to the Magic Valley’ photo competition is currently running in the Lötschental, with the main prize of CHF 1000 ! Our Wallis Guide @chrissiest will take you to the competition spots and help you with tips for taking pictures. You are also welcome to bring equipment, special clothes and other ideas! This hike will take place in any weather! Some of the spots are close to the Fafleralp. What are you waiting for? Let’s head for some colourful fun! For the route, there are various options – the final route will be decided with the group! The hiking level will be easy to medium.
Please reserve your accommodation
Since this is a hike with an overnight stay, we would like to ask for definite registrations. When you register for the hike, you also reserve your accommodation (please specify whether you would like a bed in a 10-bed or 2-bed room). The indicated prices are for the overnight stay including breakfast, the amount must be paid by yourself at the hotel. All other meals (except breakfast) have to be organized and paid by yourself. The hotel has two restaurants, picnic packages can also be bought there. Please make sure you are equipped for different weather conditions and bring proper hiking boots, rainjacket, water, food, sunscreen and everything else you need.

Please sign up via email with our host Chrissie (chrissie@swissmountaingirls.ch) and we will provide further information prior to the event.
IMPORTANT: It can always be the case that something unexpected happens. Please just note that we put a lot of effort into organising this day. Should you not make it, kindly let us know latest by latest October 2nd, so we can give other girls the chance to join us. Participants that cancel more short-termed can be excluded from future events. Unfortunately we had to set up this rule after some negative experiences in the past. But of course we hope to see you there!!
