Contents of the online course

The hiking season is just around the corner and you’re already looking forward to your first tours? But aren’t quite sure how to plan them yet? This year, for the first time, we are offering an online info call on “Hiking in Switzerland” for beginner and people who want to learn more about it – on 22 April at 7 pm in English and on 18 April at 7 pm in German (to register for this call, please switch to the German language version above). We will share our knowledge on the following topics:

  1. What do the hiking trail signs / descriptions T1 to T6 mean?
  2. How do I plan a hike (procedure, apps, etc.)?
  3. Which weather apps can help me with my planning?
  4. What should always be on my packing list?
  5. How do I book and behave in a hut?
  6. What natural hazards should I know / be aware of?
  7. Nature conservation: wildlife reserves, dealing with rubbish, going to the toilet in nature
  8. Camping: Where am I not allowed to camp? What are the regulations in Switzerland?
  9. Photography & flying drones: What do I need to be aware of?

The call lasts around 60 minutes, after which there is time for your individual questions. After the call, you will receive a two-page document with the most important information and links from the call. The call is not recorded.
